Beet Greens Juice
The color of this juice is a not-so-pretty brownish green, but the red juice from the beet greens rises to the top after it sits for awhile, making a more appealing photograph.
beet greens from 1 bunch of beets
carrot greens from 3-4 carrots
kale stems from one bunch of kale
3-4 stalks of celery
3-4 swiss chard stems
1 lemon, peeled
1/2 lime, peeled
handful of parsley or mint
Today, in honor of Susty Party's upcoming appearance on Shark Tank, I'm giving away a 50-piece package of their compostable paper straws. I'm so excited to see someone I know on the show! My husband and I only started watching it a few months ago since he is now involved in a start-up of his own. Who knows, maybe his will be the second company on the show with people I know running it.
In order to enter the giveaway, please enter below. This is my first giveaway and first experience using rafflecopter, so I'm starting small.
Disclosure: The compostable straws shown in my photographs were a gift from the owners of Susty Party, an online source for disposable tableware that is compostable and made in the USA . Back when I worked outside the home, they were a customer of mine and continue to feature some of my former employer's products on their site. When I contacted them to request a bag of multicolored straws, they were kind of enough to send me some as a gift. However, they did not pay to be featured on this blog. All ideas and opinions are my own.
